Oh my stars!
You’re here. You’re really here! It’s a pleasure to meet you. Please allow me to introduce myself.
I’m Bethany. We can be on a first-name basis, right? Don’t be pretentious now, you hear? Yup, that’s me in the photo.
I’m an Oklahoman. Daddy had Mama at halito. I don’t eat nipi. This means that pecan pie is probably my favorite
food thing in the world. It also means that my accent is mottled with different regional dialects as well as agrarian sayings. It’s casual.
Growing up in Oklahoma pretty much ensured that I would be either a weather wizard or one of those nerds who like rocks. As I’m not
dumb brave enough to chase tornados, I chose to be the latter because it satisfies my wanderlust. Despite (or because?) of being bitten by the travel bug, I’ve found that there are hidden treasures within my own city and that culture can be found anywhere in the world.
On December 3, 2014, I got engaged to my best friend. Our conversations are endless, and our laughter overflows. I wouldn’t have it any other way. He has been a blessing since he entered my life. I’m blushing just thinking about him.
I also like to keep my muscles properly engaged. Running keeps my calves sore and allows my mind to wander. It also
forces allows me to breathe. I love the changing landscape during all four seasons.
Now that I’ve introduced myself, would you like to stay for a cup of coffee? Yeah? Me too.
